Recombinant antigen ospC for Borrelia garinii, Borrelia afzelii and Borrelia burgdorferi

Borrelia garinii, Borrelia afzelii and Borrelia burgdorferi

Outer membrane protein ospC is essential for the invasive strategy of the pathogenic spirochete responsible for Lyme disease. Detection of anti-OspC borreliacidal antibodies, especially IgM antibodies, in early Lyme borreliosis sera provides additional evidence that borreliacidal antibody detection may be useful for the serodiagnosis of early Lyme borreliosis.

Recombinant antigen for the diagnosis of Lyme borreliosis (or Lyme disease), a human and animal infectious disease (mainly dogs, horses and occasionally in beef cattle).
