Recombinant antigens
ChimHCV
for Virus de la Hepatitis C(VHC)
The ChimHCV protein is a recombinant multi-epitope antigen of the hepatitis C virus that acts as a serological marker in the study of hepatitis C infection and patient monitoring. The response to ChimHCV is especially relevant for the identification of HCV-infected individuals, even in asymptomatic or chronic phases of the disease, contributing to diagnostic safety and transmission control, particularly in blood donor screening.
