Recombinant antigen pp52 for Cytomegalovirus

Cytomegalovirus
pp52 (UL44) is the DNA polymerase processivity subunit of CMV. It is a phosphorylated protein, with a high presence in the virus and DNA binding capacity. pp52 corresponds to an immediate early antigen. It is one of the serological targets for detection of CMV-specific IgM.
